Location and Directions

Chalet Verchin is located on the south east outskirts of the quaint village of Le Biot The village lies just 2 km from the main Thonon to Morzine road and is approximately 1 hour from the centre of Geneva (40km). It is at the heart of the Portes de Soleil region, providing easy access to both French and Swiss valleys. Given the majestic mountains, tumbling rivers and beautiful woodland, it is easy to appreciate why the whole area is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Nearby there are numerous, charming all year round Savoyard resorts. Morzine and Let Gets, are not purpose built resorts but rather traditional Alpine market towns that have retained their historical charm and are very well served with restaurants, bars, night-clubs, an ice rink, bowling alley, Olympic heated outdoor pool, cinema, medical centre, health and beauty facilities, and a wide range of shops. Chatel and the Swiss resorts of Champoussin and Morgins are within easy reach on the other side of the Col de Corbier.

Directions from Geneva airport:

Take signs to Geneva centre, then signs to Evian/Thonon-Les-Bains. From Thonon take the road to Morzine. After approximately 19km take a left turn to the village of Le Biot. Go through the centre of the village and at a T- junction turn right. Chalet Verchin is approximately 200 metres on the right.

Directions if travelling from the UK by road:

From the A40 motorway take directions to Annemasse, On reaching Annemasse take directions from Bons-en-Chablais/Thonon-les- Bains. Then follow directions as above.
